Chocolate, has been said to be every woman's best food. Looking for high quality chocolate? Pipiltin Cocoa is the right place. Pipiltin Cocoa has the concept of bean to bar making process. As a guest, we can see behind the glass room the making process scene of cocoa beans that turn into chocolate bar. What I love the most is that they use the finest local cocoa beans from our own country, Indonesia. They gathered cocoa beans from Aceh, Bali, and Banyuwangi. Proudly present, Indonesia can produce high quality chocolate too.
A 3-storey building located at Jalan Barito. The first floor is the kitchen of bean to bar process. Pipiltin Cocoa has the slogan "we make chocolate from scratch". So we can see the process right at the spot. The second and third floor are for the guests who want to order and dine in. The place itself is relaxing.
Pipiltin Cocoa signature desserts are: Tabanan Farm and Egg No. Well, I chose to try other dessert at that day. It's called Branch, with chocolate almond leaf, pistachio, pink sponge cakes, and green apple. Branch contains 80% of dark chocolate. It tastes bitter sweet in good way. It was excellent.
Chocolate with salted caramel. Not too sweet. It's taste good even after you had your pasta and chocolate dessert.
Besides chocolate desserts, PIP also offers savory menu such as pizza, pasta and rice. The one I tried is fettuccini carbonara with beef bacon.
